10 Greatest Video Games Never Made

7. Star Wars: Battlefront 3

002 The Star Wars: Battlefront games were a huge load of fun; essentially taking the Battlefield model of multiplayer and transposing it onto the Star Wars universe, the games featured gigantic, epic battles across sparse maps, in which you'd take the side of either the Empire or the Alliance. There was a great deal of customisation at the player's disposal in terms of weapons and outfittings, and given how many Star Wars games there are out there, they were definitely two of the best. Naturally, fans wanted a third game, yet curiously, LucasArts seemed to nix each version just as it appeared to approach completion. Free Radical (that's the guys behind TimeSplitters) were working on one that sounded particularly enticing, but low and behold, LucasArts ended up binning it for undisclosed reasons. There's still hope that we might get it one day, though given Star Wars' association with bad decisions in general - though they are turning that around with Episode 7, it seems - it's not one to hold your breath for.
