10 Hidden Video Game Rewards Given To Smart Players
For those that think outside the box.

With the amount of tutorials and handholding in modern releases, it’s easy to forget that video games also give you a fair share of free agency over your actions.
Yes, you can play the game exactly as the developers intended, but you’re also free to explore things on your own and try to use your own curiosity and wits to look for alternate methods of playing.
And sometimes, using your own smarts can yield an amazing reward!
In some games, developers like to reward smart players for solving a puzzle that wasn’t clearly there. They give you all the tools you need to figure it out, and if you manage to correctly think outside the box, your reward will be a special one-of-a-kind item, a secret level, or a clever easter egg that makes your game more interesting and fun.
The following rewards are awarded for clever play, but if you need a small nudge or simply want to learn what certain developers do to appreciate their players' brain power, check out the following.
10. Aged One's Exultation - Elden Ring

FromSoftware games are not known for explaining what you're supposed to do, and they're definitely not known for being fair.
Still, if you manage to overcome both of these obstacles, Elden Ring will recognize your quick wits and reward you with a unique trinket!
One of the most notorious enemies in the recently released DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, is the Aging Untouchable. This big-headed freak is the bane of everyone who traverses the Abyssal Woods, as he's capable of cursing and killing the player in seconds. The Untouchable will chase you as soon as he spots you, and worst of all, he cannot be killed, as he is programmed to be invincible.
Unless you find a way to bypass it, that is.
Most players' first reaction when seeing the Untouchable is to turn and run, but if you're smart enough to dismiss your natural instincts and parry his attack instead, it turns out the enemy is actually killable.
The timing for parrying the Untouchable is tricky, but if you succeed, he becomes vulnerable to your attacks, and killing him rewards you with a unique talisman called Aged One's Exultation that greatly increases your attack power.
Not so untouchable now, huh?
