Now it wouldn't be a killer party without Dead by Daylight getting a mention, and in turn, it's twisted backwoods cousin, Friday the 13th.

The pair of A-symmetrical horror games see you take on infamous killers from movie franchises to wipe out a host of unsuspecting victims, with Dead by Daylight in particular offering up some choice copyright-friendly enemies to go hunting with.

Whether it's Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Ghostface, or even Stranger Things' Demogorgan, the game allows you to step into some seriously psycho shoes as you attempt to sacrifice a bunch of harried humans to the Entity, a being that rules over a dimension where the games' setting takes place.

The pesky meat bags can fight back against your malicious ways, but that only makes capturing them and sticking them on a hook all the more fun. Taking on the role of the killer in this game feels far more entertaining, purely based on its schlocky movie leanings, providing a bit of wholesome horror in the classic form of unwilling human sacrifices - the best human sacrifices of them all.
