One of the most bankable and reliable developers working today, Naughty Dog have just celebrated their 30th anniversary and are stepping outside the usual 'trilogy mould' they've applied to both Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter to instead release a fourth Uncharted. It's a bold move as it felt like everything was wrapped up fairly well in part three, although with The Last of Us-writers Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley heading up script duties, it feels like it's going to be a much darker tale. Whether or not you think characters as light-hearted and Indiana Jones-aping as Drake, Sully and co. even need to have their 'dark chapter' is another debate, although so far judging by what's been released so far, things look more like business as usual. That subtitle of 'A Thief's End' does prick up the theorists and rumour-lovers though - does it refer to Drake, or perhaps his new partner in crime; the Troy Baker-voiced brother Sam instead? Either way at least graphics-wise Naughty Dog are absolutely unbeatable, with this looking expectedly phenomenal.
