8. Mass Effect 4
Speaking of things that have had it hard,
Bioware's curtailing to EA's production schedule cost them the adoration of millions when Mass Effect 3 fizzled out with more a dying whimper than the all-singing, all-Reaper-slaying bang it should've been. It was a controversial half-baked ending on a scale so large it got EA voted the Worst Company In America by fans furious that something should be done in response, and now that the dust's somewhat settled, the galaxy of Mass Effect itself can start to rebuild the fanbase. For the most part anyone who played the trilogy for any length of time always knew there was far more to it than a lacklustre ending, and with a slew of rumours surrounding you playing as Shepard's kid to continue the story, no multiplayer and confirmation of the Mako returning for some cross-planet travel - this could be incredible.
