7. Beyond Good & Evil 2

It must straight-up suck to be a Beyond Good & Evil fan. One minute it's just a rumour, then it's 'definitely coming' as some screenshots hit the internet, next it's rumoured to be a Nintendo Switch launch title, then... nothing again.

As of October 2016, the game is still definitely in development, with Ubisoft Montpellier partnering with the genius mind of the original's Michel Ancel.

Thing is, Ancel is also working on the rather innovative, wildlife-controlling Wild, too, which we've not seen anything of since last year either. At this stage, the amount of hype that's oscillated around BG&E 2 means Ubisoft should either get it out with confidence already, or kill the thing for good.
