6. Killzone Developer's New Game - Horizon

Finally it seems like the team behind Sony's 'Halo-Killer' are moving onto something else - which considering it did as good a job of 'killing' Halo as a feather-duster would to Optimus Prime, can only be a good thing. In departing from the forever brown n' grey aesthetic of Killzone, their new foray will apparently be a sci-fi RPG, codenamed Horizon for now. It's a welcome departure from what they've done so far, proving that unlike what Bungie did with Destiny after Halo, a developer routed in a certain genre can make a swift genre gear-change for the better. So far there's only one image out there, but it easily connotes the likes of Monster Hunter or Dragon Age's gameplay - appearing to show a team of hunters felling a large creature. Fingers crossed Guerrilla can finally make a name for themselves on something other than a title that's always mentioned in the same breath as its forever-winning competition.
