3. Pokémon

This is one thing that should have never entered the digital genre. I have never been a Pokémon person, but I have had countless friends that play. A vast majority of them have told me that the more recent games have been so pathetically bad that it's not even worth mentioning them. Solely through reviews and word-of-mouth, I can confidently say that the entire Pokémon series has been slowly butchered since its inception. It is one of those games - just like Halo - that progressively gets worse and worse the more that the devs try to milk it. After the arrival of Black and White, Pokémon lost all hope. New characters were developed that made no sense and were, for lack of a better phrase, complete and utter crap. They made long-time fans feel absolutely cheated and regret wasting their money on something that made them wish they were playing Digimon. Pokémon never should have gone beyond the realm of trading cards, and Nintendo is to blame for its slow and very painful death.
