10 Important Video Game Plot Points Answered In DLC

1. Delilah's Plan - Dishonored (The Knife Of Dunwall And The Brigmore Witches)

BioShock Infinite DLC Burial At Sea
Bethesda Softworks

After the success of Corvo Attano’s mission in the first game, Dishonored 2 begins with Emily Kaldwin on the throne with Corvo by her side. However, as we learned from the first game, it doesn’t take long for things to go horribly wrong.

It’s at this point that Delilah bursts onto the scene. She announces that she’s the rightful heir to the throne and takes it by force. It’s therefore up to either Corvo or Emily (depending on who the player chooses) to take out Delilah and her supporters to claim back the throne.

For those jumping to the sequel after playing the first game, Deliah appears to be a brand-new character added for the game. However, this witch’s connection to the lore runs deeper than this introduction let’s on. Those who played the first game’s Knife Of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches DLCs, however, will already be well acquainted with her.

This two-part expansion follows assassin Daud tasked with investigating the mysterious Delilah. It’s through his sleuthing we discover that Delilah was plotting to possess young Emily using a magical painting fifteen years prior to the sequel. Likewise, the expansion provides a better opportunity to become acquainted with the future villain.
