2. Your Divine Campmate (Baldur's Gate 3)
A major part of Baldur's Gate 3 is the presence of The Dead Three, a trio of death gods vying for power in Faerûn. However, keen-eyed players who go digging in the right places will know that there are actually four at play here - enter Withers.
Withers is an NPC who functions as a get-out-of-the-underworld-free card, reviving dead party members for a fee. He's a powerful being, but a mysterious one at that, as the game doesn't delve into his backstory or identity. However, some hidden clues reveal that he is the God of Death, Jergal.
There's the fact you find him in a temple of Jergal - which only those who pass a religion check will know. Additionally, the post-credit scene shows him chastising the Dead Three as if they are his subordinates. There are also selection of books across the game that describe Jergal's appearance - which matches his - and highlight questions the god often asked, which Withers does too.
The closest this comes to being directly revealed is in the Dark Urge origin story, wherein Withers can provide some divine intervention. But even then, he's never outright named. The fact you've been travelling with a Death God is a secret that, like Withers himself, is kept firmly under wraps.
