10 Incredible Video Games That Came From Terrible Movies

3. The Matrix: Path Of Neo

Speaking of the ultimate execution of a fan-made wishlist, The Matrix: Path of Neo was literally created with the goal of fixing the mistakes of Enter the Matrix.

Also coming two years after some of the most disappointing and hated movie sequels in history, it wouldn't exactly hurt for something Matrix-related to be received positively.

Now, personally I always adored EtM, but Path saw the Wachowskis write and direct the game itself, tying together all of Neo's scenes and biggest revelations from all three movies into one glorious package.

It sadly ended on one giant troll towards the action-loving crowd they were marketing the game towards, but for the most part this meant you had a progression of punching and kicking, firing guns and fighting Agent Smith in a subway, through to stopping bullets with your hands and duelling with that same Smith in mid-air at the end of the world.

Neo handles in a super immediate way, and the game takes you everywhere from the lobby fight to the Merovingian's chateau, to fighting hundreds of Smiths in a public park.

It was one giant excuse to have as much fun with Neo's power set as possible, and for that, Matrix fans adored it.
