10 Incredible Video Games That Came From Terrible Movies

4. Predator: Concrete Jungle

You could say Predator: Concrete Jungle was based on the Predator IP, but we wouldn't even have the notion of Yautja warriors fighting gangsters on the streets if not for Predator 2.*

And being that Concrete Jungle sees you go up against some of the same archetypes as that movie - in a city where you too, can hang bodies from signposts to scare the local populace, I'm saying it's the nearest thing to a Predator 2 game we're gonna get - at least in 3D.

For the game itself, finally it was the Predator experience fans had dreamed of for years.

Not a fully open-world or open-jungle in third-person, but "wide linear" levels filled with pedestrians to terrify and gangsters to detect using thermal vision.

Gory, arcady combat kept the pace pretty furious, with the Predator's full array of iconic weaponry all being unlocked, level by level.

For my money this is still the Predator game, really making the most of an alien bounty hunter stalking humanity where they live.

*FYI I love me some Predator 2, but that movie is like, hated, so here we are.
