4. Assorted Quests - World of Warcraft

This doesn't refer to any one quest in particular in the massively popular MMO, but the fact they take AI idiocy to a whole other realm. I strongly recommend you form a group before taking on most of these sorts of quests (especially at higher levels), because they can quickly turn frustrating when the figure you're escorting thinks himself a hero, and decides to start attacking anything within fighting distance. This will usually result in more mobs being lured your way, making what could be a relatively easy job all that much harder. Some escort figures will even just keep moving rather than actually being programmed to follow you, which is particularly troubling given that some scripted attacks will pop up out of nowhere, while you may still be taking care of other mobs the guy lured onto you. And this is all without even considering the fact that troll players can run in and just kill your escort if they so fancy. During my tenure as a WoW player, I tried to avoid these missions as much as possible.
