10 INSANELY Early Predictions For E3 2020
4. A New Splinter Cell
Sam Fisher, the man, the legend, and the last stealth game hero left.
We haven't seen him in a while, his last game was released in 2013 and was named Splinter Cell: Blacklist. The game split the fan community - some praised the way you could choose your own playstyle, but others hated that it was too action-based.
Either way, most critics praised it.
Ubisoft didn't want to let the old man rest, so back in April 2018, they released a free update for Ghost Recon: Wildlands where Sam Fisher made a quick comeback. An even rougher old man, his farewell to buddy Solid Snake was a heartbreaking reference/easter egg.
We haven't got much information on a new game, but before E3 a Creative Director of Ubisoft tweeted an announcement of him working on a new Splinter Cell game , this announcement was then quickly denied by Ubisoft PR.
Even if it's without stone cold evidence, many hope to see old man Fisher making a comeback in 2020.
