10 Insanely Underrated Wrestling Video Games You Must Play
3. King Of Colosseum II (2004) - PS2
Created by the same company who owns the Fire Pro Wrestling series. King of Colosseum II features real licensed Japanese wrestlers from the major promotions New Japan Pro Wrestling, All Japan, NOAH and Zero-1.
Compared to Fire Pro Wrestling, KoC II takes a more realistic approach on the Japanese wrestling scene with features boasted like the dynamic referee and commentary like a crescendo, rising in excitement and enthusiasm as the match draws to a close.
The controls are different than in most games, as it involves timing your grapples, otherwise you fail. This carries over to the other match rules like MMA and Ultimate Crush aka Vale Tudo rules and many, many others, hosting a more skill-based and competitive experience.
KoC II boasts the same amount of depth that the Fire Pro series does and yet it seems the underrated Fire Pro series has somehow overshadowed the King of Colosseum series.
