10 Insulting Video Game Easter Eggs You Shouldn't Find

1. Spanish For Nerd - Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

High On Life
Naughty Dog

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is the first game in the series. It kick-started this legendary franchise by building a realistic but exciting counterpart to Tomb Raider, and while it is still beloved to this day, it doesn't mean the game itself has a lot of respect for its players.

Especially if they can speak Spanish, apparently.

In one of the levels, the player can come across a tombstone with a secret message written in Spanish. Most people would simply disregard it as flavor text to make the stone look more realistic, but those who speak the language can quickly notice that the words actually hide a message for them.

A very mean message, mind you.

When translated, the message says, "If you're reading this tombstone, you're a huge nerd. Please get a life and get a girlfriend."

Of course, native speakers might not feel like the words are directed at them, since they didn't have to study to learn their own language, but then again, the developers are probably making fun of you for paying way too much attention to random objects in the background of their video game.

That is definitely a good enough reason to call someone a "huge nerd."
