10 Insulting Video Game Easter Eggs You Shouldn't Find

9. Go Away - Grand Theft Auto San Andreas

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has plenty of secret areas and easter eggs for the player to discover. From hidden references to other games to eerie locales like the mysterious mass grave near Area 69, there's something hidden around every corner.

This said, not every single secret wants to be discovered. And in the case of the easter egg on top of the Gant Bridge, the secret will literally tell you to go away.

The Gant Bridge is San Andreas's equivalent of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Because the structure is as huge as the real deal, a lot of players are naturally drawn to the top of its steel beams, hoping to discover some kind of secret up there.

However, although the bridge does hide an easter egg, it's not exactly what you'd expect. Instead of a fun reference or creepy imagery, the top of Gant Bridge hides a blunt message saying, "There are no Easter Eggs up here. Go away."

Considering that climbing the bridge takes quite a bit of skill and effort, the text is obviously a deliberate insult on the developers' part.

They knew people would go up there, but instead of putting something fun on top, they decided to scold you for it.
