10 Insulting Video Game Easter Eggs You Shouldn't Find
5. A Big Middle Finger - LISA: The Painful
LISA: The Painful, the very painful RPG, offers the player plenty of different ways to be insulted or infuriated (more often than not, it's both).
Still, the most disrespectful thing you can experience in the game is its secret easter egg on top of a mysterious hill.
One of the most deceivingly tempting areas in LISA is a mysterious ladder that goes up a hill, which extends beyond the map limits. When you climb up the ladder, you quickly realize that the journey to the top lasts longer than usual, and indeed, if you don't chicken out at any point, the ascent can last up to ten minutes!
Like moths to a flame, most players foolishly commit to the climb, expecting the time and effort to lead to an amazing discovery.
However, the top of the hill is decorated with nothing more than a giant middle finger, both figuratively and literally.
The statue of the universal sign for disrespect is a clear message that you're a fool for expecting LISA to have nice things in store. But just to not leave you empty-handed, the game rubs its insult in even further by making it impossible to jump off the hill without dying.
Thanks, LISA!
