10 Intense Video Game Achievements Worth NOTHING
4. 10th Prestige - Call Of Duty: World At War
There's no doubt that the Call Of Duty games are absolute time sinks, with each installment offering up so much delicious twitch-arcade shooting action that it's easy to become hooked.
The rush of levelling up, unlocking new guns and perks and then trying them out online is an addictive cycle, to say the least, and Activision was savvy enough to recognise that players would want to go through the loop more than once, and so began offering the chance to "Prestige" upon hitting max rank.
This would reset your gear but give you a little icon for your troubles, basically a trophy system inside a trophy system.
However, all good things must come to an end, and for some reason, World At War decided to make that full stop a hard one to the face, as when you prestige for the 10th time (which admittedly requires an insane time commitment) you get the "Go Get Some Sun" achievement which is also worth a humiliating 0g.
Come on, guys! Bit harsh considering that those who unlocked this are clearly your most die-hard fans!
