10 Most Jaw-Dropping Moments From The Major E3 Press Conferences
7. Grand Theft Auto V Is Coming To Next Gen This Fall
You could arguably consider Grand Theft Auto V the PS3 and Xbox 360's swan song, a game that pushed those consoles to the extremes of what they can do graphically, and one of the last 'major' games released exclusively on those platforms before the PS4 / Xbox One era started proper. And now Grand Theft Auto V is coming to the PS4 and Xbox One, and yes, Steam fans, the PC as well. Details are scant on what (if anything) the port will add to the experience other than significantly upgraded graphics, but considering the vast amount of content and wonderfully nuanced satire the game presented in the first place, the visual upgrade could be enough to woo players into investing in the story of Trevor, Michael, and Franklin all over again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3vcuBva80c Wowzers, right? As a bonus for folks still toiling away in Grand Theft Auto Online, rest assured your save data will transfer over if you choose to pick up the game for a console that doesn't feel like it's going to explode from overexertion every time you try to get your GTA on. With next year being the first time in a long time that Rockstar hasn't had a major game scheduled for release in the spring, polishing up Grand Theft Auto V seems a bit like a stop gap, but regardless, one would hope that seeing San Andreas in true 1080p with upgraded lighting and textures will tide gamers over until the next major release from the developer.
