10 Last Gen Games That Absolutely Must Come To Nintendo Switch
7. Resident Evil 5 & 6
Capcom has done an excellent job in recent years of restoring the credibility of the Resident Evil brand, so perhaps it doesn't want to sully that good work by shining a light on the low-point in the series again. However, enough time has passed that a port of Resident Evil 6 to Nintendo Switch isn't going to ruffle any feathers.
In regards to Resident Evil, Capcom has not been shy about bringing it to the Nintendo Switch. The publisher brought Resident Evil Revelations and Revelations 2 to the console, followed by the recent announcement that Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil, and Resident Evil 4 are coming in May. That's a whole lot of zombie-killing action on-the-go and we couldn't be happier about it. Seriously, the ability to play Resident Evil 4 on a handheld is a dream come true.
Bearing in mind the unfortunate fact that Resident Evil 2 remake can't run on the Switch and 3 is presumably being remade as we speak, we're left with two outliers: Resident Evil 5 & 6. These two games, particularly 5, are very solid experiences. Sure, they are far more action-oriented, but they're fun adventures that would fit quite nicely on the Switch. Thankfully, Capcom's propensity to re-release everything gives us hope that this one is a matter of time.
