10 Last Gen Games That Absolutely Must Come To Nintendo Switch
2. Grand Theft Auto V
Rockstar's flagship series was once found on just about every console, from PC to Xbox, PSP to Nintendo DS. So you'd think it would be a rather obvious fit for Grand Theft Auto on the Nintendo Switch. For some reason though, it hasn't happened yet.
Grand Theft Auto V is an astonishing accomplishment in games; it's a technical powerhouse with a giant open world from mountains peak to sea floor, as well as a long campaign and multiple playable characters. So much so that it's surprising it was ever even able to run on PS3 and Xbox 360. Seeing as it did though, surely the Switch is capable of running it as well.
If so, we'd be thrilled to jump back into the not-so-sane shoes of Michael, Trevor, and Franklin and cause more chaos. Much like we said with Red Dead Redemption, it's almost surprising it isn't on the Switch already, considering L.A Noire is.
Almost seven years after the game released, Grand Theft Auto V still sells huge numbers every year, and a Switch re-release would no doubt add a few more million to the tally. At this point Rockstar is just leaving copious amounts of cash on the table.
