10 Most Laughable Versions Of Famous Actors In Video Games
8. Samuel L. Jackson - Jumper: Griffin's Story
This promotional still from the video game spin-off of the underwhelming sci-fi actioner Jumper actually looks pretty good upon first glance: the graphics, for one, have aged pretty well for the most part. The problem is that the character, Cox, in no way resembles Samuel L. Jackson aside from being a black guy with the same facial hair. The contours of his face, the lack of age, and specifically the eyes, make it difficult to associate the character with Jackson, but this is no accident. Digging around the web, some reviewers believe that the developers may have actually failed to secure Jackson's likeness for the game, which seems bizarre given that they even managed to rope Jamie Bell in to do voice work and facial scanning, and Jackson has a reputation for pretty much taking any work thrown his way (some say he has a problem saying "no"). It's not like this is a game made years after the fact (ala Reservoir Dogs): how could Jackson's likeness not have been secured when he signed up for the movie? Whatever the reason, it's a truly shocking representation.
