9. Fable 4
Lionhead Studios were recently seen advertising for programmers who could handle not just current-gen games but also DirectX 11-capable software (which for now is only available on the PC), making it clear that whatever they're cooking up over there, it's going to be on next-gen consoles as well as (probably) current-gen. Various hints from studio heads also imply that they're working on something we're going to be very excited about, and therefore likely a major franchise. Discounting the possibility that they might be reviving Black and White, let's assume they're going with the tried success of Fable. Not only have Lionhead been recruiting staff who would be extremely useful when making an RPG, but as is the trend these days, they appear to be looking to take their next project into the MMO stratosphere, and frankly, who
wouldn't want to play a Fable MMO?
