10 Least Imaginative Pokémon From Generation I
3. Dugtrio
"Wait, why is Dugtrio here and not Magneton?" Well, before you go calling me a hypocrite, understand that Magneton makes sense as an evolution because magnets link to one another.
But how the hell does Dugtrio make any sense? It's just three Digletts. Are they connected? And if so, how? Are the heads stuck together? Are they intertwined with one another beneath the dirt? On that note, what's going on under the ground? Is it just a mole body? Is it three bodies? So many questions surrounding Dugtrio remain unanswered.
The only reason that it doesn't rank higher is that Diglett is a somewhat imaginative and cute mole-based creature. But they could have done a lot more to improve upon its design upon evolving. Like, I don't know... letting it come out from underground? Giving it large arms or claws?
Anything else would have been more inventive than what they came up with.
