10 Licensed Video Games You Didn't Know Existed

5. It’s Always Sunny: The Gang Goes Mobile

Who knew you could make games out of sitcoms? While the characters look more like The Simpsons than The Gang, the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia game released to little fanfare in summer 2019.

Players can micro-manage Paddy’s Pub with appearances from fan-favourite minor characters in the long-running FX show. My concerns lie in the fact that maybe this isn’t too faithful to the original, as the business is actually a success.

The humour featured is taken directly from the show, such as game-boosting alter-egos like Wildcard Charlie or Man-Spider Frank. Another highlight is the inclusion of the late Heinz Kiessling’s infamous soundtrack.

It is just a shame this game isn’t as outlandish as the show, rather a standard mobile management game.
