A bit like Spider-Woman, The Fantastic Four have suffered from some pretty poor exposure in recent years. After the critically panned reboot in 2015 many people have become a bit disillusioned with Marvel's first family, which is pity when they were one of the comic titles that originally made Marvel big. Maybe a proper fleshed out Fantastic Four video game experience could help to change the minds of the masses?

The family actually got an okay tie-in game to the first Fox film which released in 2005. While the execution wasn't fantastic, the general premise of a co-op beat 'em up adventure game that made you cycle through the different characters was a pretty good one. Each character offers their own unique play style and move set, which keep things fresh as the game progresses. With some tweaking and refining, this model could work really well for the family of heroes.

The game could also feature a fantastic supporting cast. Obvious choices for villains would be the likes of Doctor Doom and Galactus, but the game could also feature cameos from characters such as Namor and Black Panther, seeing as they're tied closely to the Fantastic Four mythos.

The developers could set the game entirely on Earth, or lean into more of the sci-fi elements of the characters' mythology.
