A survey by Variety in 2014 found that teenagers in the U.S. look to YouTube stars like PewDiePie for guidance and entertainment, more than celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence, Seth Rogen and Leonardo diCaprio.

That in itself is huge; when you consider the sheer size of Hollywood and the American celebrity culture, Pewds shouldn't even get a look in. But he is outperforming all of them and it seems he has truly conquered his audience, who look to him for everything.
