10 More Fortnite Crossovers We'd Love To Play
9. Sonic The Hedgehog
Okay, this may sound a little bit out there, but bear with. This isn't to suggest that players should actually turn into the world's fastest erinaceinae. Instead, it's an opportunity to explore the ways in which motion could start to play a more prominent role in the way players plot their way across the map and launch their assaults on competing challengers (perhaps in a spiky blue hat and red shoes, for good measure).
Place a few of those famous golden rings around the map and grant players who find them a temporary speed buff - say 5 or 6 times the standard speeds. This could be coupled with the chance for players to collide with others. This could deal damage depending on whether they hit directly or at a glance, and on how much of a head of steam they had in advance.
More interestingly, however, it allows players to take chances they may not normally take. Those who've set up early camps in the centre of the map but find themselves without much in the way of firepower may opt to dash out to the edges and try to scoop up some loot before the storm shrinks in.
A risky strategy, of course, but what's a game of Fortnite without some immensely reckless behaviour?
