When you face off against Troupe Master Grimm in Hollow Knight, he'll start the fight by bowing at you - seemingly a show of respect before you start throwing down.
But if you decide to interrupt the bow and start wailing away on Grimm immediately, he'll take none too kindly to it.
That is to say, Grimm will let out a loud, angry screech, and immediately rattle off his most powerful attack - a fireball salvo known as the Pufferfish.
If you have the basic politeness to let Grimm bow before taking him on, you'll only face the Pufferfish attack at set intervals when his health reaches 75%, 50%, and 25%, but if your impatience gets the better of you, you'll get hit with it from the jump.
Given that the Pufferfish attack packs a mighty punch, and Grimm is both immune to certain types of damage and can't be staggered during its execution, it's really something you want to avoid as much as possible.
