5. Leisure Suit Larry In The Land Of The Lounge Lizards

The grandfather of gross sex jokes, the Leisure Suit Larry games have been around for decades, each ladened with smut and crass content that even I, who has built a career out of jokes from 2006, thinks are a bit on the nose. That said, if you can look past the rampant questionable sexual situations, then you’ll see the original, Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of The Lounge Lizards is a fun puzzle game of sorts, with tonnes of that Sierra-brand weirdness they were known for.

Sierra famously made the Kings Quest series, which is rife with death in all manner of weird ways, and Leisure Suit Larry definitely follows this trend. At least, in the sense that death is everywhere, because in the opening section of the game, you can simply walk down into the road and get hit by a car.

Not exactly the most side splitting of splatters, but again it’s a quick death, and a nice way to see a pancake version of Larry, should you so choose.
