4. Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Another very lengthy JRPG lands a spot on the list. The first Xenoblade Chronicles game on the Wii became a bit of a cult classic.
Unfortunately, not many copies were ever made, and whilst demand was high, supply was low, and prices skyrocketed on the game. It was eventually re-released for the 3DS, so many more people were finally able to enjoy it. On the Wii U, a spin off to the first game was released.
Xenoblade Chronicles X didn’t have a whole lot to do with the main characters of the original, but featured a good amount of references to past titles in the Xeno series. This one however seems to be a continuation of the story from the first, being a numbered sequel.
The trailer shows some absolutely gorgeous visuals and art direction, and if that’s not enough to get you excited, just keep in mind how great the past games were, and how this will build on them, and you can probably start to imagine what we’re in for.
