6. All Hands On Deck – Colonel Cortez
Despite meeting Colonel Cortez in the first few hours of the story, he only makes a handful of appearances as the game progresses. This is the first of his missions to make the list and it’s a huge battle on board his boat against a seemingly never-ending wave of enemies.
This mission doesn't really tie in with the rest of the game, but here you are helping the Colonel fight off French enemies that are trying to take him down while on his boat. At first you can pick them off from the safety of the vessel, but it quickly escalates. Close quarter shoot outs are followed by a helicopter which immediately becomes your priority once it shows up. Thankfully though there is health that you can grab on board which should see you through.
Due to not being in the main story, this mission may be forgotten in comparison to others on the list, but it was full of action and had some fantastic set piece moments.
