3. Death Row – Kent Paul
Death Row is possibly the hardest mission in Vice City and is another which requires full health, armour, as well as loads of bullets. Lance is the most memorable character from the game in his bright white suit, but here you need to rescue him after Diaz fights back.
It is a time limited mission with your partners health draining having been captured and tied up at the Junk Yard. This is the first mission in the game where the volume of enemies can make it a tough task. Getting in and out of the Junk Yard with Lance is the hardest part with tons of enemies in all directions. Even once you have escaped you are faced with a Diaz’s men chasing you as you head for the hospital.
This was the first really big mission in the game and was certainly one of the most memorable. Due to the lack of checkpoints in Vice City it was also one that would take the majority of players multiple tries to complete.
