10 Most Overrated Nintendo Switch Games

4. 1-2-Switch

Animal Crossing New Horizons

To be blunt, this is a tech demo of the console's capabilities! It should just have been built into the system as a glorified tutorial on how to get the most out of other Switch games.

Even if it was supposed to be the equivalent of Wii Sports, it didn't really succeed. It's graphically underwhelming, some games are really confusing, some just flat out don't work, and some you could play without a console. For one game, you can just put the Joy Con down to trick the console into thinking you're being perfectly still. How's that for fun? Some you can't play without background noise interfering; it's a party game!

There are a handful of mini-games that are quite enjoyable and should make a few party goers smile. If it became free, or at least absurdly cheap, then maybe it'd be worth everyone's time, but as a full priced game, forget it.

It's a poor entry even by tech demo standards, and in no way is it worthy of being the Switch's 18th best selling game. You're much better off buying Super Mario Party, and that's overrated as it is.
