10 Most Overrated Nintendo Switch Games

5. Kirby Star Allies

Animal Crossing New Horizons
Nintendo

With a couple of exceptions, Kirby has never really been about breaking mad boundaries. He's about colourful fun and cute quirkiness. In this instalment, it's about doing it all with your friends too, awww.

There's no doubt that as a multiplayer, platforming, experience it scratches an itch and if it had been a £20 (or equivalent) downloadable title, it wouldn't be worth discussing. However, if you stack it up against the likes of Zelda or Mario, it's hard to justify a full price purchase of a game you can complete in an evening. Yet, it's still number 21 in the charts.

It's hard to make a list of improvements for a Kirby game as the franchise has never really made or been about making any major changes. However, the final few levels in this game are some of the best made for the series, so more of that would be welcome, as would more mini-games/modes.

Bring back some of the older gimmicks, utilise all the tweaks that have been made over the years, and stop making Kirby games such a bare bones experience.
