10 Most Popular Video Game Consoles Of The Last 10 Years - Ranked
5. PS Vita
With better marketing, I wholeheartedly believe the PS Vita could've actually been a worthy competitor to Nintendo's substantial hold on the handheld market.
The touchscreen, introduction of cute, SD card-sized cartridges, the incredible games library - Sony even (finally) included another analogue stick so proper camera control was now a reality. Speaking of games, you had one of the most underrated (and still completely overlooked) Uncharteds in Golden Abyss, Persona 4 Golden, Killzone: Mercenary, Tearaway, Gravity Rush - not to mention the bursting-at-the-seams library of backwards compatible PS1 games filled with every childhood favourite you could shake a stick at.
Hardware-wise, the Vita ran like a dream, pairing to both the PS3 and PS4 for a variety of uses such as an additional screen, a controller or - best of all - Remote Play, where the consoles can beam across any triple-A game to play wherever you like.
How Sony didn't market this better I'll never know, but what a phenomenal piece of kit.
