10 Most Promising Nintendo Switch Exclusives Of 2018
6. Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes
Either you've played No More Heroes and had your mind and crotch region blown in unprecedented new ways, or you're waiting with baited breath for the franchise's debut on Switch.
Regardless, No More Heroes is easily one of the most batsh*t action games known to man. Directed and conceptualised by the walking meme machine that is Suda 51, the first NMS saw Travis Touchdown (just go with it) wield his lightsaber-inspired Beam Katana to become the highest ranking assassin in an underground organisation.
Look, just... it's an excuse for Suda51 to roll together a million different influences - from punk rock to anime, western cinema tropes to nerd humour and everything in between - delivering something that set one hell of a precedent to follow up on.
For this sequel, Travis finds himself sucked into a games console, assumedly letting Suda turn his attentions to parodying everything from loot boxes to generic action heroes and industry clichés. PS4 exclusive Let It Die was already a brilliantly self-aware indulgence of roguelikes and Dark Souls mechanics, so lord knows what Travis Strikes Back will turn into.
