This entry needs a bit of context.

WWE 2K14 was obviously 2k’s first time publishing a WWE game, and they obviously wanted to make a good impression and do something special. To that end, they presented the 30 Years of WrestleMania Mode, which showcasing the greatest matches in the event's history, including legendary matches like Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant, The Rock vs Stone Cold, The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels and… Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg.

With a mode boasting some of the greatest matches of all time, why they would bring up possibly the worst received match in WrestleMania history is a mystery. With both men making it clear they weren’t returning, the crowd turned on them, filling Madison Square Garden with deafening boos and “you sold out chants”, which made the already apathetic performers care even less.

This match was built up to be an epic Clash of the Titans, two of the most powerful Superstars squaring off once and for all, but the end result was so horrible its shocking WWE wants anybody to remember it exists, let alone give it a place in a celebration of the best the company has to offer.

It’s understandable that WWE wanted to include Goldberg in a newer game, but to do it through this appalling match was a shocking idea.

Fred hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here. Maybe. It might be over there. We're not really sure.
