10 Most Underrated N64 Games Ever

1. Space Station Silicon Valley

Shadow man
DMA Design

One of the wildest concepts ever stuffed into a cartridge, Space Station Silicon Valley is a true one of a kind. A madcap romp through the animal kingdom by way of a Westworld-esque planet of robots, this is a criminally underplayed gem and an unsung masterpiece of the N64 era.

You play as Evo, a robot who has crash landed on an inhospitable planet. Your body smashed to pieces, you must transfer your computer chip brain from robot animal to robot animal, working your way up the food chain and finding the necessary parts of your body to facilitate your escape. The ingenuity and inventiveness of this game is incredible, allowing you to take the form of elephants, bears, rocket powered penguins and tank/tortoise hybrids as you fight your way through the four environments. The humour and charm is up there with the greatest in gaming, and the varied soundtrack is on point throughout.

With its Aardman-like graphics, Space Station Silicon Valley stands up remarkably well, but a remastered version - or even a sequel - would surely go down a storm. It seems nigh on impossible not to be won over by this delightful game.
