Considering Turok: Dinosaur Hunter involves blasting cybernetic dinosaurs with every weapon under the sun, it's easy to see why it was one of the earliest hits on the Nintendo 64.

But not only did Turok 2: Seeds of Evil supply our hero with bigger and better weapons - the artillery is far more creative this time around. In this underrated sequel, Turok can obliterate raptors, mantids, and grubs with explosive arrows, a razor-tipped boomerang, and a torpedo gun. You can also nuke the overgrown lizards with a literal nuke.

But Turok's pride and joy has to be the cerebral bore. Once you've locked onto a dino with this bad boy, the device will home in and, as you can guess by the name, bore into its skull, shredding its cerebellum to mush.

Just to add to the awesomeness, the bore can't miss and it's impossible for its target to survive. (The only problem is the apparatus doesn't work on dumb enemies because the bore cannot detect the brain!)

The little brain sucker has become so iconic, the Glaswegian musicians, Cerebral Bore, named their band after Turok's greatest weapon.
