10 Most Unique Attacks In Video Games
2. Sans' Non-Attack - Undertale
In Undertale, you can face the secret boss, Sans, if you perform certain criteria. (By "certain criteria", I mean "kill everything").
If you successfully reach Sans, good luck. To defeat this paunchy skeleton, you'll need boundless skill, a miracle, the patience of a saint, and a few punching bags to vent your rage when you lose 400 times in a row.
As you try to dodge San's Gaster Blasters, screen-flickering, and bullet-board slams, the bony boss keeps reminding you that he's saving his most devastating move for last. When he hits you with an onslaught of attacks that lasts 40 seconds, but promises his final assault will be worse, the player can only imagine what untold horrors Sans has in store for you.
As the battle reaches its zenith, Sans unleashes his so-called "special move" - doing nothing. Because of Undertale's turn-based mechanics, you can't do anything until Sans makes a move. Since he refuses to do so, the battle is seemingly locked in a stalemate.
Little did Sans realise that you can defeat him if you wait for him to fall asleep. Nevertheless, "doing nothing" was the last thing anyone expected when Sans bragged about his ultimate attack.
