3. Make Use Of The PlayStation's Back Catalogue
With the PlayStation brand now over 25 years old, it's safe to say that Sony is sitting on a veritable horde of gaming gold. Each PlayStation console has played host to some of the greatest games of all time (even the Vita had Persona 4: Golden), yet Sony seems strangely reluctant to capitalise on this fact.
This is in stark contrast with Microsoft's strategy, which allows its consumers to experience a fine collection of older Xbox titles. As well as making hundreds of Xbox 360 titles playable on current-gen consoles, there are some absolutely stellar games from the OG Xbox up for grabs. Panzer Dragoon Orta at 4K60fps? Our younger selves would have thought such technology only existed in the same timeline as Star Trek.
Sony, by way of contrast, seem content to hide their light under a bushel. PlayStations 1-3 held some cracking games that still hold up to this day (Vagrant Story will never age in our eyes), and younger players absolutely deserve the chance to experience their hobby's storied history.
Having said that, there's one part of PlayStation's past Sony needs to let go of...
