The Grand Theft Auto series is no stranger to secrets and Easter eggs, with some of them being the most iconic in all of media. From an enormous, beating heart of Liberty City located in the statue of Liberty in Grand Theft Auto 4 to the sign on top of the bridge in San Andreas which reads 'There are no Easter eggs up here. Go away.'

Grand Theft Auto 5 continues this trend, including many secrets, references to other media and hidden areas for you to discover throughout Los Santos.

One of these is located at the beginning of the game in the North Yankton section, where you can take a different route away from the marked objective to a bridge, under which an alien corpse can be seen frozen beneath the ice of the river.

You have to be quick though, as straying this far from the main path for too long will result in the mission being failed.

There are actually a few aliens and UFOs in GTA V but this is one most players are unlikely to have stumbled across, due to the brief period of time you spend in this area and the inability to return to it once the section is completed.
