10 Open World Video Game Secrets You Never Found
4. Indiana Jones - Fallout New Vegas
The Fallout series is known for it's signature sense of humor, with hilarious non-player characters, quests and encounters. Fallout New Vegas is revered as one of the greatest open world role playing games ever and it's not difficult to see why.
With a sprawling Nevada wasteland for the courier to explore, extensive dialogue trees and branching story, it has been cemented as a fan favorite in the post apocalyptic series. It's no surprise that this world is full to the brim with secrets, some less obvious than others.
One such secret is one that many of us wouldn't have encountered as it requires a special in-game perk to be active for it to even appear. Activating the 'wild wasteland' perk at the beginning of the game will give way to a series of random quirky encounters and Easter eggs that appear in the game which otherwise would not show up.
When leaving Goodsprings near the start of the game, you will stumble across an old refrigerator with a skeleton inside sporting a familiar looking hat. This is a reference to the infamous scene in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull where Indie survives a nuclear blast by hiding in a fridge.
Look's like it didn't work in the world of Fallout.
