This amusing ad for Modern Warfare 2 caused a wealth of controversy, as it depicts a man who may or may not be paralleling a game of Call of Duty with sex, as he declares, "Guys are doing it with girls...girls are doing it with other girls...some like deeper penetration...some even get scared and pull out right in the middle of doing it...sometimes when people do it alone for too long, their hands cramp up...some people have steady aim, and others just spray everywhere...some people go into Domination mode, now that's some freaky deaky s***" and so on, before it's finally revealed that the old coot is talking about Modern Warfare 2. It's a simple, edgy advert that doesn't even need to show off a single clip from the game to engage us, and only a franchise as prolific as CoD could risk marketing their game this way.
