Ready to plunge the bar on franchise-inspired video games even lower, Overkill's The Walking Dead is waited on by millions of the show's fans... and it looks terrible.

What should be a solid alternative to the point n' click setup of Telltale's titles, this is more like 2013's Survival Instinct: An FPS that trades off the back of such a powerful brand name, only to turn in complete toss.

Overkill's effort was seen in greater detail at E3, though the results were off-putting at best. Aiming to tap into the four-player horde-shooter mould Left 4 Dead once championed to the world, there MIGHT be enough for hardcore fans to enjoy, but the sheer roughness of the execution is almost inexcusable.
