5. Just Cause 3's Portable Nuke/Lightning Launcher

The Just Cause series has always been known for its OTT action and ridiculously weaponry and traversal mechanics, but Just Cause 3's M488 Launcher may well be the most over the top weapon in the entire series.

The launcher is essentially your typical rocket launcher, but it's instead equipped with a miniature nuclear style warhead fueled by the material Bavarium, which is a big plot point in Just Cause 3. In practice, this gives you a massively overpowered weapon that gives you the ability to cause a massive explosion infused with the power of crackling electricity.

The explosive capabilities of the M488 are so massive that all other weapons pale in comparison. After launch, you can expect the M488 to produce an explosion that's 20-30 metres in diameter, and up to 40 metres tall. Whatever you hit with it will be vaporised instantly, regardless of whether they're a person, a vehicle or even a building. It can even destroy an entire outpost instantly if you're tactical enough.

The weapon is nowhere to be seen in Just Cause 4 and is replaced in favour of weapons such as a wind gun (weather is a big part of Just Cause 4's mechanics).
