10 PlayStation Trophies That Are Literally Impossible To Achieve

2. Committed 'Til The End - Lost Planet 2

Even if all of its trophies were possible to unlock, Lost Planet 2 is not a game you should pick up if you like to go for 100% completion. It's easily one of the hardest platinum trophies to achieve - across any PlayStation console - due to the absolutely ridiculous requirements that you need to hit in order to unlock all the Noms de Guerre.

These are basically titles that you can unlock and slap on your character, and require you to do simple things like, oh, get a number one placement on an online leaderboard. Needless to say, such a feat was borderline impossible for the majority of players, since the leaderboards soon filled up with expert Lost Planet 2 specialists who achieved records that us mere mortals could only dream of hitting.

But that's not why the group of Noms de Guerre-related trophies - like Committed 'Til The End, a gold - are unobtainable.

The risk with implementing a trophy that's tied to a leaderboard is that said leaderboard could always be hacked, and sure enough, that's exactly what has happened to Lost Planet 2's leaderboards. Since you need all the Noms for certain trophies, and there's a Nom for placing first on a leaderboard, obtaining every trophy is now impossible.
