10 Pre-Orders Better Than The Game Itself

A reboot of the classic stealth series, 2014’s Thief once again saw players step into the cowl of professional thief Garett within the steampunk-inspired city that he calls his home.

As players progressed though the game, however, it soon became clear that this title did a poor job of making them feel like they were playing as an accomplished criminal thanks to some genuinely awful enemy AI. Likewise, immersion was shattered upon discovering the expansive city was nothing more than a collection of pathways cobbled together with a series of loading screens.

The only way that players could get the master thief experience was if they pre-ordered the game or picked up the Limited Edition version to get the exclusive Bank Heist Mission.

Tasking players with infiltrating a highly secured bank to pilfer a vault's contents before making their escape, this mission was everything that fans of the Thief series could have asked for. From skulking in the shadows to sneak past guards and security cameras, figuring out how to disable alarms, and discovering the combination to the vault, this mission put the player’s thievery skills to the test.

Put simply, this bonus mission was better than anything the main game had to offer.
